5. WetWok

WetWok is an awesome Chinese restaurant located just off the hoe towards the Barbican. This means not only does it have amazing food, but the views are pretty great too!

You really can’t beat WetWok’s impressive sea front views.

Dining in provides eating by the water, with fun decor and a fun vibe inside. There’s an extensive menu with all of your favourites served quickly and there’s a whole host of drinks options too.

If you’re wanting to stay in, you’re in luck as WetWok are available for delivery across the city.

WetWok is definitely amazing because of it’s location so we recommend going in restaurant at least once.

4. New Jade Garden

This take away restaurant is hidden away on the corner of Ebrington street, but has some of the best take away food in the city. You’ll be able to get your staples here delivered to your door.

It’s a real comfort spot of mine that I’ve been ordering from more and more recently, so if you’re struggling to think of a place to order in for dinner, definitely give this place a go!

New Jade Garden feels like it’s tucked away amongst the bustle of Ebrington street, but it’s really worth the try!

Their chicken fried rice is a must try and just like WetWok there is an extensive list of options for you to choose from so you should be able to find your favourites!

3. Sizzling China

Although it might not look like much, Sizzling China is brilliantly located on the walk down to the barbican.

It’s a massive restaurant space inside, so great to invite the family to and sit down at a table. Being so close to some of the best pubs and evening activities in the city also makes this a brilliant space for gatherings and beginnings of nights out.

2. New Oriental Tea Room

Located close to Royal William Yard, this restaurant is a gem for Asian food. The resturant side of the amazing Asian store ‘KW Brothers’ this spot is fantastic for want- ing those authentic Asian meals made fresh (a walk around the supermarket behind the restaurant will show you where they get the ingredients from!) There is no reason not to check this out.

There is a range of styles on offer here, so you should definitely find some food that you love and you’ll definitely be wanting to come back.

It’s worth taking the drive out to Royal William Yard and trying this spot out, but doesn’t have the edge like our number 1 restaurant...

1. Imperial Garden

There is no better restaurant in Plymouth than Imperial Garden. Inside the vibe is fantastic, friendly staff, interesting decor and of course: incredibly good food. On the start of Ebrington Street, there’s no missing this spot and you need to try it at least once.

There are dozens of reasons that set Imperial Garden apart from the rest of the restaurants on the list, but it is their catering to vegans and vegetarians that really makes this the best place in Plymouth for Asian food.

There is a whole selection of tofu dishes to choose from, as well as vegan chicken dishes that incredible and a must try no matter your dietary preference.

There is nothing not to like about Imperial Garden and has been a personal fa- vourite for many years, it is completely worth making the trip to collect, or have a sit down meal with your friends and family.
